This scheme is a voluntary scheme
that supplies all students with the required textbooks and resources for their
year level, at a reduced cost to parents. It saves parents/carers money by
sourcing appropriate textbooks and specialised resources, through using its
bulk purchasing capacity. It saves time
that parents would otherwise spend visiting specialist suppliers and most
importantly, ensures that children have the correct materials for each class. Participation in the SRS will generate
savings of at least 20% for most students.
The SRS provides:
Hire of all textbooks and class sets
Printed class notes, excluding student's personal photocopying
Student Diary and ID Card for external use
Materials used for classroom projects
Basic consumables for Manual Arts, Art, Home Economics and practical subjects. Consumables for Manual Arts, Art, Home Economics and practical subjects.
Access to software
This scheme provides the entire package for a set fee and is not available in parts.
